Welcome to “Spanish First Words with Phonics“ the first educational application to teach children Spanish through letter sounds (phonics) and letter names, that also provides the choice between distinción or seseo. Your child will start off by learning the sounds of letters through phonics (distinción or seseo mode) and how these associate to specific words. As your child’s understanding of the sounds and names broadens your child will move on to learn the names of the letters (distinción or seseo mode) and how they are used to form words, learning spelling at the same time. The three different hint alternatives (color hints, letter hints and color and letter hints) combined with five more settings, will challenge your child and adjust the level of difficult. The unique interface, featuring a list of thumbnails, allows your child to explore all the words and will offer endless hours of fun and education.

“Spanish First Words with Phonics“ is the first educational application to teach children reading through letter sound (phonics) and letter names that provides the choice between distinción or seseo (differentiated pronunciation of ‹s› and ‹z› or ‹c›) by a simple change in the corresponding button in the settings of the game. The available modes are:
“Letter Names - Distinción ”: The letter names are pronounced with Distinción ( “theta”)
“Letter Names - Seseo ”: The letter names are pronounced with Seseo (“s”)
“Letter Sounds- Distinción ”: The sounds of letters (phonics) are pronounced with Distinción ( “theta”)
“Letter Sounds - Seseo ”: The sounds of letters (phonics) are pronounced with Seseo (“s”)

The lite version gives only four words and you cant really get a sense of how good or bad it will be. Dont bother downloading lite just pay for regular if youre willing to take a chance
i have been looking for a long time to find an app for my 3 year old that teaches Spanish with phonics I am thrilled I finally found one, and with such fantastic designs and sound effects! My daughter loves it, muchas gracias!
I taught Spanish for a couple of years and we did it by breaking words into syllables. Its much easier to learn to read Spanish.. I dont care for this format at all...
My 2 & 4 year old really love playing with this app & theyre learning Spanish.
You have to pay to get more Spanish words.
